Kickboxing combines the power of TaekwonDo kicking with western boxing and Muay Thai boxing using elbows and knees. Kickboxing provides a healthy and fun training environment, perfect for a good cardiovascular workout, as well as improving general fitness and muscle tone. Our mixed age group classes have a perfect "family-friendly" environment, in which all age groups can thrive, so whether your 8 or 65, male or female we will be able to cater exactly to your needs.
New to 2019, SWMA is pleased to bring you a brand new kickboxing class. Our Juniors only Kickboxing class is a specially designed program for juniors between the ages of 7-12. Your child will learn practical self-defence skills in a safe, friendly and fun environment whilst acquiring other skills such as self-discipline and excellent hand-eye coordination. And if that's not enough the pad slamming work out they will receive will have them as fit as a fiddle in no time!
There is no need to join a martial arts programme to take advantage of our FAST Defence courses. Our basic course lasts approx 4 1/2 hrs, with lots of follow-on courses dealing with, weapons, multiple attackers, ground fighting and finally an opportunity to experience the ultimate purpose-built scenario centre.
